The 1st Annual Vendor Holiday Shopping Bazaar will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting Thursday, December 13 thru December 16, 2012 at Marquette Park Pavilion, 1 North Grand Boulevard, Gary, IN 46402. The bazaar will be the first of the annual events held at Marquette Pavilion that is sure to become a "must-attend" event for years to come. More than 40 local and regional crafters and vendors have been invited to participate to showcase their unique work and products. This year's event also offers the opportunity for charitable giving.
A "Mitten Tree" will be on display where citizens, customers and friends will be encouraged to stop by with donations to support local shelters for homeless women and their children and victims of domestic violence. Donations of "Mittens" socks, gloves, scarfs and hats can be dropped off at Marquette Park Pavilion Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
